Today is the launch of Voices From Krypton Radio, periodic blocks of music appropriate for Media Geeks everywhere. To kick things off, we're going back nearly 30 years in time to present a terrifying concoction we've nick-named "Sci-Fi Disco." The time is late 1970's/early 1980s, and disco rules (ugh!), so it's no surprise that Meco offered the world disco versions of the following themes: Superman: The Movie, Star Wars, Close Encounters of the Third Kind, Star Trek: The Motion Picture and The Empire Strikes Back. Some might argue that these themes should have been buried in a time capsule somewhere, but we felt that, historically, there was a significance in....oh, who are we kidding? We needed something to post today and we went with this. Enjoy.
