According to First Showing.net, Sin Nombre and Jane Eyre director Cary Fukunaga is likely to helm Spaceless, based on the screenplay by Final Fantasy: The Spirits Within and I, Robot writer Jeff Vintar. The film, which is being produced by Gore Verbinski, has been described by Playlist as a "high-concept sci-fi movie that centers on a top assassin hunting a high-profile target in space who must figure out how much of his reality is an illusion and what really matters in life before he can complete the job."
