Although Max Lord, the OMACs and Superman himself are rumored to be the villains of George Miller's forthcoming Justice League, according to Variety, the supposedly go project may be held back by the Writer's Strike. Notes the trade, "Warner Bros. execs are nervous about how to proceed with Justice League of America, which is still uncast and is a crucial potential franchise boasting popular DC Comics characters." The bottom line is that although the studio had stated the script was good to go whether or not there was a strike, the inability to perform rewrites depending on casting or production contingencies is probably not the best way to go forward with a big-budget potential blockbuster.
