Superman: Doomsday is DC's first effort in creating animated product that is decidedly more adult than anything it's done before. Crude. I was really hoping they would have superboy and Steel. That is extremely disappointing. They should have done a 2 or 3 part movie.

I think the reason for that is they want to do these films as standalones rather than multi-part. I'll be curious to see the changes they make and exactly how they truncate the storyline.

I don't really blame you guys for taking out Steel and Superboy, especially since you guys are in a rut with the whole Superboy controversy, being careful that the Seigals don't put a pink clip under your door. So, yeah, Superboy was not in it because of the court ruling and I guess Steel isn't in it because their wouldn't be time for an explanation on his coming.
